Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
Aevo Talent is working exclusively with a major critical infrastructure operator to find a Maintenance Engineer for their Chicago-area facility.
This hands-on role involves developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting mechanical systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with operations teams to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime across the facility.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience • 4+ years of maintenance engineering experience in industrial setting • Strong knowledge of pumps, compressors, conveyors, and HVAC systems • Experience with CMMS systems and predictive maintenance techniques • Familiarity with reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles • Root cause analysis and problem-solving capabilities • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals
